DIY or Call Us?

FAAC keypads and intercoms run on low-voltage wire, and that makes them safe to inspect. You can check for obvious damage: a cracked face, water inside the lens, or a wire that pulled loose at the terminal block. You can clean the face with a dry cloth and confirm the breaker for the gate opener is on. That’s a reasonable Sunday project.

What we don’t recommend is rewiring the keypad or intercom yourself without testing the board first.
